Who writes and reviews our guides
Our guides are written and reviewed by Voyfaro. A guide marked “By Voyfaro” means this. We do not use invented author names or personas. If a named editor reviews a guide, their name and role will appear on it.
Where our facts come from
- Visa and entry facts come only from official sources: government, embassy and consulate websites, official immigration and e-visa portals, and official regulators. We link to them in the text, so you can check them yourself.
- Other sources, such as airline pages or a partner’s terms, are labelled as such. We never use them as the source for a visa rule.
- Official fees are quoted in the currency the official source uses, with the date we checked. We do not convert them, because exchange rates and card fees vary.
- If official sources disagree or are unclear, we say so and tell you which source to follow.
Dates and reviews
Every guide shows the date it was last updated. We aim to re-check visa guides against the official source regularly, and straight away when we learn that an official rule has changed. When rules change, we update the guide and its date. We do not change dates on guides that have not been checked.
Independence
Commission never decides which options we include, the order we show them in, or what a guide says. Partners do not review or approve our guides before we publish them. Read how we make money.
How we use software tools
We use software tools, including AI writing and research tools, to help us research, draft, organise and check our guides. Every visa and entry fact is checked against the official source linked in the guide before the guide is published or updated, and each guide lists those sources with the date we checked them. Every reply we send to a traveller by email, Instagram or Facebook is checked and sent by a person.
Not affiliated with any government
Voyfaro is not a government website and is not affiliated with any government, embassy or visa centre. Visa decisions are made only by the relevant authority. Official visa fees are paid only through the official or authorised channel.
Reviews and testimonials
We do not currently publish customer reviews, ratings or testimonials. If we add them, we will publish all genuine reviews, positive and negative. We will not pay for reviews, write them ourselves or edit them, and we will explain how we check that they come from real customers.
Corrections
Spotted something wrong or out of date? Email hello@voyfaro.com with the page link and what you think is wrong. If you can, include the official source.
We check every report against the official source. If we got something wrong, we fix the page and update its date. When the change is material, for example a change to a visa route, fee or eligibility rule, we also add it to the log below.
